Welcome on our “Living on a farm in Slovakia – Blog”. In May 2008 we have bought a smallholding in Slovakia without ever having seen it and we have moved to our farm in September 2008. Since then we have started to get acquainted with our neighbours, learn the Slovak language, renovate the house, regain our land from nature and we have actually started to farm on our land in spring 2009. On this blog you can follow our progress and setbacks.

Bosomy ladies
We have had a short brake with only four easy-care-goats kidding but within the next four days four sheep are expected to lamb. So baby watch duties are back on including checking at night if all goes well.
