Go out for lunch

When it is freezing and the soil is covered with snow (so no contamination) I feed the animals their hay outside, just for variation to safe them from boredom. They also got trimmings of willow to nibble on. I think they are also longing for the spring with fresh green grass.

Just wondering about your comment "no contamination" so you can feed the animals when it snows/freezes. Is you property contaminated?

I own a campground too!

Hi Damon, No the soil is not contaminated but if their feed is on the 'wet' soil, manure, urine etc. can contaminate it.
