One of our goats was not feeling well, she refused to eat, was shivering with cold, had mild diarrhoea and showed a sudden drop in milk production. We took her away from our herd which is grazing a clover rich field, put het on hay and water only, give her a twice daily dose of baking soda and this morning the vet administered some antibiotics. She is now wearing the coat of Zoef our African sighthound to keep her warm. And she is eating again, a good sign of getting better!
