Welcome on our “Living on a farm in Slovakia – Blog”. In May 2008 we have bought a smallholding in Slovakia without ever having seen it and we have moved to our farm in September 2008. Since then we have started to get acquainted with our neighbours, learn the Slovak language, renovate the house, regain our land from nature and we have actually started to farm on our land in spring 2009. On this blog you can follow our progress and setbacks.

Garden 1st week of July
On the pictures: will be fennel, will be beans, broadbeans, lettuce, won't be pumpkin (male flower), spinach, will be gherkin, will be tomatoes, will be tonight's dinner: baby carrots and new potatoes.
