Winter coat

Since three days it is cold outside. It always suprises me to see that animals, inspite of a lovevly warm Autumn, develop their winter coat. The goats start to look like polar bears again and also our daughter now wears a warm winter coat.

With mild weather it is again a pleasure to have Katinka around when working outside. She loves to jump in the mud, visit the baby-sheep, feed the chickens (and run after them) and look with great interest when mum is milking.

Svätý Mikuláš in our village

Saint Nicholas came with his angels, devils and witch... This well known Saint in the Netherlands (Sinterklaas)also brings presents to Slovak children. A nice guy since he even made it to our village, you should expect him on his name day the 6th of December but I think he came all the way by foot because we finally met him today the 10th.

Water

We got a new well drilled. We now have the highest quality clean spring water. Great for our camp site and Katinka's swimming pool.
